Laura is a full-time artist from Tahekeroa – a rural area North of Auckland. She is lucky to be surrounded by native bush and the beautiful birds of New Zealand, which definitely inspire her love of painting all things nature.

After experimenting with different mediums, acrylic paint became a firm favourite and with this came experimenting with colours and shapes. Laura’s process starts with an abstract background to which she adds a hint of realism to create a sense of whimsy to her paintings.
